Bright Blade: Senua's Sacrifice: Graphic Comparison to Next-Gen Upgrade

As we have already reported, Light Blade: Senua's Sacrifice received a circumferential Next-Gen graphics upgrade. The free update also adds raytracing to the game, which the atmosphere in the game again significantly aligned.

Quality mode adds ray tracing in reflections for Xbox Series S / X. The general lighting was also newly adjusted for the Xbox Series S / X and it became for example More foliage added to the game at Xbox Series S / X to match the Xbox One X quality mode without raytracing offers a few more vegetation.

The quality mode also significantly improves global lighting on the Xbox Series S / X compared to the other modes. The shadows were also improved on the Xbox Series S / X. The quality mode of the Xbox Series X additionally improves the ambient blur, anisotropic filtering and Godrays considerably compared to the other Xbox platforms. Charging times were optimized for Xbox Series X / S.

At a few places, it comes to performance issues that are only available in the Next-Gen version. So it comes to a few frame rate breaks in certain areas or some textures and assets need a little more time to load than actually needed. With a further patch, however, these little losses are likely to be a thing of the past.

  • 1600x900p 30fps
