Dead by Daylight gets Pinhead as killer - that's great
The latest killer fromDeead by Daylight becomes really Pinhead. We reveal what this nasty priest can be made from another dimension.
For some days Teasert Dead by Daylight the next killer. All hints pointed to Pinhead - and now that was confirmed. The test server is active and killer fans can slip into the hatched skin of the Zenobite - because the Pinhead is called in Dead by Daylight.
Who is Pinhead? Pinhead comes from the Hellraiser films and is the leader and priest of the Zenobites, a cult of a hell-like dimension. This cult is trying to achieve a new stage of enlightenment and existence through Sadomasochism and resorts to extremely brutal means, which are already showing in Pinheads. So his face was slipped with razor blades in vertical and horizontal lines and hammered at the crossing points nails into the head - therefore the name Pinhead.
What has capabilities Pinhead? Pinhead has a normal movement speed of 4.6 m / s (115%), a terror radius of 32 m and is classified as a large killer. He also has several skills that are pretty complex and are all over chains and puzzles.
Its first ability is opening a portal. As long as the ability key is pressed, the distance from pinhead to the location of the portal (similar to teleporting at the nurse) is extended. Lets Pinhead the button, the perspective jumps to the portal. From there, a chain can be conjured manually controlled. If the chain hits a survivor, it screams and is slowed down. Shortly thereafter, a second and third chain appear, which cause even stronger slowdown.
The survivors can free themselves by means of a loose action from the chains.
Pinheads second, rather passive ability is the Lament Configuration - that's the puzzle box, which also occurred in the films again and again. This box spawns somewhere on the map and must be found by the survivors.
If no survivor picks up the box within a while, a chain hunt begins. Completely automatically appear and more chains that attack the survivors independently, slow down and betray their positions.
The chain hunt ends when a survivor picks up the box.
The survivor who carries the box can not drop it anymore. As long as the box is in its possession, it suffers from the Oblivious effect (unaware) and is attacked at regular intervals of chains. The survivor can solve the puzzle of the box, which takes some seconds. During the survivor solves the puzzle, the Zenobit can teleport directly to the survivor.
If the puzzle is successfully solved, then the box disappears temporarily and has a decline time before recovering in the world and begins the circulation from the front.
If the Zenobit finds the box, he can pick it up and also solve. Then all survivors are automatically tied up from chains and betrayed their position due to loud screaming.
All this sounds more complicated than it is - a gameplay video of the Youtuber Not Otzdarva shows Pinhead's skills in action:
New Perks, but no new survivor
These are the Perks of Pinhead: Like all killers, Pinhead comes with three independent Perks. These perks are only available only for Pinhead, but can later be unlocked in the blood network as a teachable version for other killers. Pinheads perks are:
- Deadlock - When a generator is completely repaired, the entitus immediately blocks the generator with the highest progress for 20/25/30 seconds. The Aura of the affected generator is displayed to the killer in white.
- Hex: Plaything - the first time you hang a survivor, it will be damned and a lackluster totem becomes the escape. The affected survivor suffers from the Oblivious effect (unknowing) as long as he is affected by the curse. The cursed survivor can see the aura of the curse totem in a radius of 24/20 / 16 meters. The first 90 seconds after activation only the cursed survivor can use the dead purifier.
- Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain - At the beginning of the match, four random hooks are replaced by Scourge Hooks. The aura of this hook looks the killer in white. When a survivor is saved from a scourge hook, then he suffers from the Mangled and Hemorrhage effect (he is more common and requires more time to be healed) until it was completely cured. He is healed, then he suffers a malus of 7% / 8% / 9% to the speed of healing and repair capabilities until he is injured again.
Considering all the information, but that it is still data from the PTB, ie the test server. Until the release of the Hellraiser chapter, details could still change. More news about Dead by Daylight is here on MeinMMO: * Dead by Daylight loses Stranger Things license, must delete map * All killers from Dead by Daylight and who is the best for you * Dead by Daylight prevapses his players and that's a problem There is no survivor? According to current information, no survivor occurs in the Hellraiser chapter. At least he is currently not playable on the PTR and no Perks have been found in the game data. It would therefore be conceivable that the chapter merely consists of the new killer. What do you think of the next chapter of Dead By Daylight? A really cool supplement? Or is that rather a trash killer?
